Guests will preview Spoleto’s Omar opera with an aria performed by Laquita Mitchell, accompanied by Diane Richardson. \nThe evening will culminate with a panel discussion with The Post and Courier Managing Editor Autumn Phillips and Projects Reporter Jennifer Berry Hawes and McIntyre as they share experiences from their journey to create the story “I Am Omar.” \nLimited tickets are available for $150 each. As a very special gift, the first 100 people to purchase tickets will receive an early copy of The Post and Courier’s story “I Am Omar,” signed by renowned Lowcountry artist Jonathan Green. \nOmar: Revealing the Journey is a fundraiser for The Post and Courier Public Service and Investigative Reporting Fund.
