After the state Supreme Court ruled two Greenville County fees invalid in June, governments across the state reviewed similar fees to assess whether they might be impacted by the ruling. Some scrapped fees while others decided their fees were proper. But several lawsuits have now been filed around the state seeking refunds, and the latest - a $330 million suit filed Oct. 20 - brings the issue back around to Greenville County. Reporter Nathaniel Cary has covered the story from its beginning and will talk about what led to this point, what it means, and what happens next.
