On April 26th Book & Author will bring readers together to enjoy a day of literary delight. As an event sponsor, Books in Every Bag will be selling raffle tickets to give away four extremely valuable Lladro porcerlain figures to benefit their organization. Each piece comes in the original packaging from Spain where they were individually created.
ALL proceeds go directly for bookstore quality books sent to children in the LowCountry every month from birth until age 5. All books are age appropriate and include a parental newsletter to facilitate reading to the child and encourage literacy by the adult. All children from birth to five in Charleston, Berkeley, Dorchester, and Colleton counties are eligible for this free book program. All donations are tax deductible.
