Post and Courier Greenville Food Editor Lillia Callum-Penso will host Dine & Dish at Aryana, an authentic Afghan restaurant in Greenville. Enjoy a multi-course dinner while listening to Lillia interview Chef Nelo Mayar. They will give diners an exclusive behind-the-scenes look into the making of the restaurant’s menu inspired by their Afghan heritage.
Aryana is Greenville’s only Afghan restaurant. Opened in 2016, owner Nelo Mayar has created an oasis of flavorful, fast cuisine. She offers both a meat and a vegetarian/vegan option daily, building plates around impeccably fluffy and rice, seasoned vegetables and spiced and grilled meats. Everything is better with Aryana’s house made chutney.
