Join Hanna Raskin and The Post and Courier for a VIP Kickoff to the third annual Spirited Brunch!
The Spirited Brunch is a free self-guided snack tour of more than 20 historic downtown houses of worship, representing faith traditions including Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism and Baha'i. Each congregation throws open its doors during the event and serves a dish representative of its religious practice or local community: In past years, Spirited Brunchers have feasted on fried chicken; okra rollups; baklava; Huguenot torte; okra soup; rugelach and German apple cake.
We'll start the day with mimosas and gospel music at the McAlister Hospitality Suite at TD Arena at College of Charleston. Tote bags will be distributed to the first 150 guests.
