Ticketing Options 

Tailgate: Includes (2) General Admission Tickets, (1) Tentside Parking Pass, and (1) Tailgating Space. Please use the map below to select your desired tailgate spot. Any spots that are grayed out have already been purchased or are unavailable. Tailgate spots and jump locations may be subject to shift slightly due to weather conditions before or on race day. 
Note: Any additional guests (beyond the first two) who will be riding in with you or attending your tailgate will need to purchase individual general admission tickets.

General Admission: Your ticket to the races! Enjoy access to our Merchant Market featuring live entertainment, family activities, local artisan vendors, and more. Parking is sold separately. Children 12 and under are free. All guests including children are required to have a ticket.

General Admission Parking: Limited parking spots are available for purchase for all ticket holders. Due to the limited availability, we encourage guests to rideshare or purchase a tailgate spot, which includes on-site parking and 2 GA tickets, for just $35 more.

Lexus VIP Lounge: The Premium Steeplechase experience is right on the finish line! Featuring food service and an open bar, elevated views, exclusive experiences, and access to VIP Restroom trailers. Parking is not included but guests may purchase GA Parking for $40 or VIP Parking for $75.

VIP Parking: Limited VIP Parking is located right on the infield of the race track. Requires Lexus VIP Lounge purchase.

Please note, for the safety of our guests and horses, if you are bringing your own tent, please make sure your tent is weighted and/or secured. If you are bringing your own pop-up tent, select "I'm bringing my own tent" at check-out. This will apply a $20.00 fee that will go towards the event staff that will be going around checking the security and safety of your tent.

Races will take place rain or shine. All items are non-refundable, all sales are final. It is a condition of the issuance of tickets that all attendees shall hold South Carolina Event Productions, its sponsors, and beneficiaries harmless for any damage, loss, or accident.

  • No open flames, grills, propane tanks
  • No parasols, sun umbrellas, beach or patio umbrellas

With deep roots in southern heritage, this Charleston tradition began in 1792 and will be ushered into its new era. The family-friendly Sunday event will feature high-stakes races with coveted titles on the line. So pack your coolers, grab your big hats and bow ties. We’ll see you at the races! The Steeplechase of Charleston is a National Steeplechase Association sanctioned Race Meet.
