Greenland is 3,000 miles away from South Carolina, a wonderland with blue meltwater rivers and icebergs the size of islands. But what’s happening there will play decisive roles in the Lowcountry’s fate, from rising seas to heavier rains.
Join us for a lecture with Senior Projects Reporter Tony Bartelme and Photojournalist Lauren Petracca. The reporter and photographer duo will dive into the connection between the melting ice caps in Greenland and how these events are directly impacting the rising waters in Charleston.
