Less than 40 percent of South Carolina residents are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, but that number is much lower in the state's many rural areas. In the Upstate's Cherokee County, about 24 percent of residents were fully vaccinated by May 27. It is just one example of the low numbers outside of the state's most populated areas. Real Estate and Development Reporter Nathaniel Cary will discuss rural vaccinations within South Carolina.
